Buckinghamshire Adult Learning

Buckinghamshire Adult Learning have an exciting new range of free courses and workshops which they are launching this month. These are mostly short, funded online courses (from 6 – 100 hours), with start dates on the 17th, 21st and 30th September (alternative dates are available in November).

Certificated courses include:-

  • Employment skills
  • Creating a business start up
  • Preparing to work in adult social care
  • Digital skills
  • Customer service
  • Awareness of mental health problems
  • Understanding autism

Also: Improve your Wellbeing

There is an initial induction then each person learns at their own rate following online tutorials. There are physical workbooks and tutors are available by phone, email, or are contactable every couple of weeks for a 1:1 on Google Meet.

There are also some one hour Employability Workshops on Mondays starting 14th September. These cover online job searching, CV writing, application forms, interviews.

 

Courses are FREE if you are:-

  • Resident in the UK
  • Receiving benefits
  • Earning less than £17,004 a year
