Pearl Class is one of the Gemstones classes. It is based in the Food technology room and in the Pearl classroom within the Downley School. This arrangement helps our children to develop their organisational skills and to prepare them for moving onto secondary school. Within this class, we have a ratio of 4 -1 which allows the staff to work on personal targets, key skills, practical life skills, emotional health and aspects of the National Curriculum, with the children, who are heading towards the end of Key Stage 2.
