Student Council

At Chiltern Wood school we feel it is important to give all our pupils a voice.  The School Council actively engages pupils as participants in their education and in making a contribution to their school community.

The Chiltern Wood School Council is made up of elected representatives from each class or department across the school. Their role is to represent the views of the pupils in their class or department, to celebrate what is going well and to discuss ideas on how to improve our school.

The School Council benefits the whole school, pupils and teachers, because it provides opportunities for pupils to communicate their feelings as well as influence decisions that are made.

Our meetings include an Agenda and pupil friendly Minutes (presented in Widget- Communicate in symbols.) The Print Minutes are shared in class with the other pupils. Please see our School Council Boards on both sites

The pupils meet each half term on each site.
