Full Time and Part Time Teaching Assistants

Term time  (38 weeks per year) INSET Days claimed as overtime as required.

Hours: 32.45 hours per week  between the hours of 8.15am – 15.45pm with additional hour on Tuesday ad-hoc for training (to 4.45pm)

Part time positions (if available) are for 2 -4 days per week

Bucks Pay Range 1b – R2 FTE: £20,297- £23,961 per annum Full Time Equivalent

Actual pay £14,856 - £17,538 per annum based on 32.45 hours per week

Downley site vacancies are based in Woodland Department, catering for pupils who have Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties or Severe Learning Difficulties with additional physical and sensory needs.

Cressex site vacancies are based across all departments, working with children with severe learning difficulties and complex ASD.

Class Teacher (Secondary)Cressex site

We have a vacancy for a teacher working with children with moderate, severe and complex learning difficulties, including autism, regulation and sensory needs.  We welcome applications from those who have previously taught in mainstream schools, ECTs and UQTs. We also welcome enquiries from unqualified teacher with relevant SEND experience.

Chiltern Wood School is a Special School currently supporting over 200 students ranging from ages 3 to 19 years, located across two sites in Cressex and Downley.  We are a team of caring professionals, contributing purposefully to meeting the special educational needs of children in the High Wycombe area.  You will be well supported by welcoming and knowledgeable staff within a well-run, hard-working school which holds as its core value the wellbeing of its pupils, parents and staff.

We are looking to recruit a Kitchen Assistant to join our team.  Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Kitchen Assistant will ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of children at lunchtimes under the direction of the appropriate person as identified by the school.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school who have varying special needs.  The Kitchen Assistant will assist as directed, with all aspects of the preparation of food and beverages to the standards required by the school and will be responsible for making lunchtimes a positive and learning experience for all.

 

The role may also include supporting the teams in a Midday Supervisor capacity – as per the job description.
