HR Manager

Location: Working across both Cressex and Downley sites

Grade:  Bucks pay range 6 – 7 depending on qualifications and experience (actual pay £27,917 - £31,410)

37 hours per week, 41 weeks (38 weeks term time + INSET + 2 weeks in Summer)

Overview: We have an excellent opportunity for a confident HR Manager to join our expanding Special School in High Wycombe.

About the role:: The successful candidate will be responsible for the direct management responsibility of the Human Resource Function which include recruitment, employee life-cycle, workforce planning, training and development and attendance and performance monitoring, providing best practice HR support to all employees, covering all general aspects of employee relations. The HR Manager will have key responsibility of compliance relating to personnel records, Single Central Record and policy reviews.

Class Teacher (PMLD)

Woodland Department caters for pupils who have Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties or Severe Learning Difficulties with additional physical and sensory needs. We pride ourselves on building positive relationships with our pupils, their families and supporting professionals to enable communication, physical, social and emotional development for each individual.

Speech & Language Therapist Opportunities, including Team Lead (Band 5 - 8)

Bucks Pay Range 5 - 9 ( Actual pay £25,128 - £41,135) dependent on qualifications and experience

Chiltern Wood School educates children and young people with a broad diversity of complex needs, including Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), Severe Speech, Language and Communication Needs, and Complex Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC).

We have exciting opportunities to join our welcoming and creative speech and language therapy team. The team is well-resourced with its own budget for resources and specialist ICT equipment, has a commitment to evidence-based therapy, and works closely with the wider multi-disciplinary team. Therapists collaborate with class teams and parents to embed therapeutic strategies across the day. This includes a high level of direct work with pupils, coaching of class teams within the classroom environment, and frequent opportunities to deliver staff and parent training sessions.

We are seeking to appoint two therapists (Band 5 – 7) and one Speech and Language Therapy Team Lead (Band 8). The Team Lead will hold a caseload and have managerial responsibilities for the team. For all posts, we would welcome applicants who have existing specialist skills in Dysphagia, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), ASC or PMLD. Senior Administrator

We have a permanent position, to start as soon as possible, for a senior administrator to lead the administration support function at growing special school. The post holder will be based predominately at the Cressex site, but will have the opportunity to work with colleagues at the Downley site for essential training as required.

About you

The successful candidate will be an experienced, confident administrator who is able to develop efficient work-flow processes and knowledge share across team. In addition, the post-holder will be comfortable dealing with a variety of stakeholders and able to work professionally and discreetly at all times.

The role is term time plus one week and must cover core office hours of 8am - 4pm daily.
