Admin Assistant Vacancies

(Bucks Pay Range 2 FTE £20,258)

We are currently recruiting for 2 Part Time Admin Assistants to join our team. One position will be based at our site in Cressex (15 hours per week) and the other position will be based at the Downley site (20 hours per week)

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals that are seeking part time work during the term time only.

The successful candidates will be responsible for a range of administrative duties at their respective site.  More information can be found in the Job Description.  Please note that the duties of this post may vary from time to time as required by the Headteacher, without changing the main purpose of the role or the level of responsibility.

Class Teacher (PMLD)

Woodland Department caters for pupils who have Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties or Severe Learning Difficulties with additional physical and sensory needs. We pride ourselves on building positive relationships with our pupils, their families and supporting professionals to enable communication, physical, social and emotional development for each individual.

Speech & Language Therapist Opportunities, including Team Lead (Band 5 - 8)

Bucks Pay Range 5 - 9 ( Actual pay £25,128 - £41,135) dependent on qualifications and experience

Working hours: 37 hours per week plus 5 inset days plus 2 weeks

Chiltern Wood School educates children and young people with a broad diversity of complex needs, including Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), Severe Speech, Language and Communication Needs, and Complex Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC).

We have exciting opportunities to join our welcoming and creative speech and language therapy team. The team is well-resourced with its own budget for resources and specialist ICT equipment, has a commitment to evidence-based therapy, and works closely with the wider multi-disciplinary team. Therapists collaborate with class teams and parents to embed therapeutic strategies across the day. This includes a high level of direct work with pupils, coaching of class teams within the classroom environment, and frequent opportunities to deliver staff and parent training sessions.

We are seeking to appoint two therapists (Band 5 – 7) and one Speech and Language Therapy Team Lead (Band 8). The Team Lead will hold a caseload and have managerial responsibilities for the team. For all posts, we would welcome applicants who have existing specialist skills in Dysphagia, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), ASC or PMLD. Teaching Assistants  (Full & Part Time, permanent and casual contracts)

We have opportunities for Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated class teams. Hours are 8.15am - 3.45pm and part-time positions are 2 or 3 days per week.
