Claire Long

Co-opted Governor

“I have worked in the legal profession for over 20 years and feel that it is important to give back to the local community. Voluntary work is something which I have done in one form or another for over 27 years, in addition to my working life. I have a particular interest in Chiltern Wood as someone who was born with Cerebral Palsy, which gives me a little insight into barriers and challenges faced by children with additional needs. I am consequently a passionate believer in equality of opportunity and that is why I have become a Governor of the school. I have some BSL qualifications, although I am now very rusty.”
