Welcome to Chiltern Wood School
“We are a school for children and young people aged 4-19 with severe, complex and profound additional needs. We cater for a broad selection of needs including: language and communication needs, complex autism spectrum conditions, profound physical and cognitive disabilities, Down’s syndrome and sensory processing needs. Our pupils are located across three different sites in the High Wycombe Area with different specialisms across our seven departments.
In May 2024 we continued to be rated ‘good’ by Ofsted. As a school we continue to work on and reflect on our practices, working towards the best possible practice for the children and young people who attend our school. We pride ourselves on putting the wellbeing of our children and staff at the centre of the learning process, as we believe that sustained success is only seen when embedded in a safe, secure and happy environment.
It is my privilege to be the headteacher of such an exciting school. We hope that you enjoy using this portal into our school, and warmly welcome visits from anyone who wishes to find out more.”

Our Values
Visions and Values
At Chiltern Wood School we want everyone to engage in their learning so by the time they leave us our students have a purpose and they have developed the independence skills that would allow them to have a role in the community around them and enjoy their future lives.
